Carlos, sitting in the stylist's chair, recognized the change coming on. He was going to revert back to his usual appearance. He was hoping he could have his hair styled and set one last time before returning to his true appearance.
Carlos had two choices, he could run now and leave before the stylist (and everyone else) saw him change, or just stay there.
